Today in White Plains, New York, at the United states District Court the diesel track and field star Marion Jones, 31, who pleaded guilty in October 2007, to lying to federal agents about her use of performance-enhancing drugs and her connection to a check-fraud case, was sentenced to six months in prison.
Marion Jones should be fine in jail, she has enough muscles to take on the biggest chick in jail.

The coaches who gets paid for training her and the doctors that gave her the drug should also have some repercussion for her taking these enhancement drugs! She had to be convinced by someone! White folks will benefit off of you and stand back and let you take the fall by your lonely!

I think everyone here makes some pretty good points. I just see that everyone is overlooking the money aspect. The reason this BLACK girl got busted was because this BLACK girl was on an Olympic salary. WHITE guys like John Cena (WWE) get lots of heat for steroids and other performance enhancing drugs like that. The difference is they can afford tens of thousands and even hundreds of thousands of dollars in some cases to pay doctors to make sure they don’t get caught and lawyers if they do get caught. And if you want to look at a BLACK guy look at BONDS or any baseball player for the matter (The most overpaid and overrated sport in history) They’ll never do time they will tie it up in court for years until the media forgets. Then they set a ridiculous million dollar bail and a kagillion dollar fine to benifit the state and then they’re off scott free so to speak.
The issue isn’t steriods or SKIN COLOR if you must be pissed it’s the justice system you need to be pissed off about.
And if anyone in here had a clue about steroids and would stop watching CNN and all the hype for a minute they would know that this girl still had as hard as anyone else to become great. Athlete take steroids to break genetic barriers and plateaus. Steroids DO NOT allow you to sit on the couch and become a world class runner, wrestler, or baseball play. These althetes still have dedicated their lives to the sport. And nowadays it’s not about getting a competitive edge. It’s about keeping up with everyone else.
I don’t condone steroids use or any other performance enhancing drugs but this is how I see the sports world.
