Obama was the ONLY candidate that supported Jena6. I’m not voting for some people that couldn’t even SPEAK on the Jena6 issue (i.e. the other candidates). If I, as a college student from Chicago in the state of Florida, can go to Jena, Louisiana to support them boys, why couldn’t Hellary?
Obama did a lot more than community work. Even in the area of community, he has wayyyy more local involvement under his belt than Hellary. Unlike ALL the candidates, he hasn’t been tainted by national politics as much as the others. We’ve had a Bush or a Clinton in office since the 80s. It’s time for a change….and I’m damn sure not going for Hellary’s wishy-washy ass. I rather have Edwards or Huckabee. If Hell-ary can’t stand the pressures of a debate and cries of it, how will she be able to stand situations of terrorism and other international issues when it gets tough. SHE CAN’T CRY THEN! I’m not saying a woman can’t be president, but she isn’t the one.

When it was revealed that Bush was an alcoholic and drug abuser at one point in his life, nobody threw that in his face. And when it came out that he was a partying frat boy at Yale who barely made it out, nobody threw that in his face.

I don’t allow my sons to watch any videos at all. I barley watch BET, only if they have an old movie. We are a strong culture and need to take a stand at these networks who promote violence and sex and believe this is what we want to see and our children to believe that this type of lifestyle is fine for us. This is where my boys first saw a Booty Shakin Up and Down like it was going out of style. When I was growing up we tried to just sing along with the rapper and at the same time did our homework and kept a positive attitude. They want to blame violence on the rappers. People were making violent music since I can remember! Videos promote violence, so that means BET,VH1, and MTV has apart in promoting violent behavior!
