chunisback – get a life – it’s 2008 – homophobia is the equivolent of racism… just like you call someone gay “homo” or “fag” – would you want someone calling black people “nigger” or hispanics “spicks”? think about it… i’m tired of people of color thinking it’s okay to judge and discriminate against gay people, but if someone even DARES do it to them, they pull the race card so fast… gay people and ethnic/racial minorities probably have more in common than you’d think
i swear, i’m not done with this shit… if a black guy beats up a gay person because they are gay, they don’t see it as a bad thing… but if someone were to ever beat up a black person for being black, we’d never hear the end of it… and don’t give me this bullshit excuse of “well you can’t hide being black… they can hide being gay” um… let’s be real – when was the last time you saw a gay person and couldn’t TELL they were gay, lmao… with MOST (not all) gay people you can tell usually… and what’s even FUNNIER about the whole thing is that by minorities being so AGAINST gay people/culture… they are hurting THEMSELVES – when black men are gay or bi, and their community and family make it clear it’s not accepted, they do their gay activities on the down low – many times with random hookups or unsafe… and get HIV/AIDS, and thent ehy go home to their “wives” and spread it… and while it is wrong for them to do that… there is a DEEPER reason why many black and hispanic men do this every day… and it has to do with the black and hispanic communities being intolerant and unaccepting and discriminatory towards the gay community and lifestyle… not to say that white society is totally okay with it… but it’s more of a problem with blacks and hispanics because of the idea of “what is a ‘real’ man” or “Machismo” that runs through those cultures and communities… of course, this idea of “macho” black and hispanic men is also perpetuated by white society’s stereotypes of what a black man “should” be… so it’s all one big fucked up cycle … it’s time for EVERYONE; white, black, asian, spanish, etc. to just let it all go and just LIVE – and let everyone else just LIVE and be happy… i guess the real problem is that people just can’t mind their own damn business and are always trying to see what the next person is doing… so petty
oh and PS: don’t be mad at Perez Hilton because he’s worth more than you and your parents put together… he’s doing his thing… don’t knock his hustle… i don’t see anyone commenting on this site hanging out with Janet Jackson and getting their own TV show on Vh1… hmmmm… maybe if you focused on your own life and goals, you could do great things too – instead of just sitting on a blog hating on the next person for the money/fame they are working hard for…
