Cant diss Janet cuz she is wine fine, and her new album is banging! This song is awful, she’s tryin way 2 hard 2 b current, and the song is way 2 damn busy! This is really a JT song Feat Madonna!!! What a sellout so much for all that trendsetting propoganda that people have always held her 2. Now that she cant get any airplay and is so desparate she has to turn to Justin and this awful mix of what is supposed to be music. I like this song, it’s a good one, they both sound inspired. When I first heard about it, I expected it to be contrived but instead it does radiate a kind of excitement.
I don’t think Madonna needs Justin Timberlake, her last record did very fine with no collaborations from anyone. Maybe his involvement might help the record but even that’s questionable since her career feels like it’s been on the upsurge in the last few years. Besides, everyone uses collaborators – Mariah’s leadoff for her last record had a collaboration and so did Janet Jackson’s leadoff single from her last record with Nelly. It’s silly to criticize Madonna for doing something everyone else does.
Madonna stays on top because she never works with the same people so her sound always sounds fresh.
And no matter who her collaborators are, she always sounds like a champ which validates her own involvement in her own records and immense knack for gavalizing the best out of her collaborators.
If Janet Jackson made a track this hot in the last 10 years, I’d still be a fan.
