Over 5 years after a series of tapes emerged with the singer allegedly sexing and peeing on underaged girls the R. Kelly case finally seems underway. Don’t expect to get all the juicy details though, the judge in the case has closed and sealed the pre-trial transcripts so reporters have no way of finding out what happened in court. The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and the AP are seeking transcripts of closed pretrial hearings and asking that a gag order on attorneys be lifted.
