Dior Homme designer Kris Van Assche has launched his own label of high top sneakers for the Spring/Summer 2008 season. The sneakers come in various colors with a very unique lace design.

Well I’ve seen most of these in Bloomingdales when i’ve gone. There are other high-end stores as well just check their shoe section… you can’t find these in footlocker!!! P.S. I’m glad to see you people like them NOW and not in 6 months when Jay-Z has them on then magically they’re the hottest things ever!!! Thank God you people have opinions of your own first!

I don’t go to soul food restaurants often, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about Amy Ruth’s on w116th St and Billie Blacks on w119th St.
And the Sugar Bar has an open mic night on Thursdays. It’s a bar/restaurant owned and operated by Ashford and Simpson. And they’re there hosting every Thursday night. If you’re going to go there, call and make reservations.

You’re not gonna get any good soul food in Times Square. That place is for tourists. And Harlem isn’t that far. Hop on the A train from 42nd St, and take it two stops north to 125th St. (or get the C train at w50th St and take it 8 stop north to w116th).
And then there’s the Sugar Bar on w72nd. Take the 1 train north to w72nd St.
