Here’s what the always controversial director had to say while promoting his upcoming Michael Jordan documentary in Cannes.

But wait there’s more…Spike doesn’t think enough Black actors appear in war films:
“Clint Eastwood made two films about Iwo Jima that ran for more than four hours total, and there was not one Negro actor on the screen, if you reporters had any balls you’d ask him why. There’s no way I know why he did that — that was his vision, not mine. But I know it was pointed out to him and that he could have changed it. It’s not like he didn’t know.”

Great quotes from Spike, he’s talkin as real as it gets in his craft. He’s always been more diverse than a lot of directors which is why his body of work is more colorful than so many others. Keep it up Spike
