1 STYLE 07/24/2008 at 3:59 PM: Customization is the hallmark of brands like LV and Vuitton. It’s $15k because the whole design was custom. If you pick any stock piece and change the fabric only, the upcharge is an extra 50%.

Reality check is that unless you are skiing the Swiss/Italian alps or cutting though the brush in the Andes, backpacks are for children.

2 KT 07/24/2008 at 4:33 PM: I think backpacks are very practical. It’s all a matter of opinion. It frees up your hands and it’s easier on your back and shoulders, esp. if you are carrying a few things in your bag.

The limited edition bag debuted several years ago in the monogram canvas and has been rocked by the likes of Usher and Nick Cannon. As a matter of fact, Nick Cannon still rocks his. There’s a picture of him carrying it this week in NYC, as a matter of fact. Why this bag cost $15,000? Custom or not, that shit isn’t worth it! Further more, it’s LV (canvas…not even an exotic skin) not HERMES! That’s the only bag, I’d even THINK about dropping that kind of doe on. Everything else, not a chance!
