Lydia is the great granddaughter of the guy behind one of the largest newspaper and magazine businesses in the world William Randolph Hearst. When she was a kid her mother Patty was actually kidnapped, “brainwashed” into robbing banks and held by the Symbionese Liberation Army in hope they’d get some people out of jail. Now she looks pretty for a living!

Love Lydia! Have hung out with her a few times. She’s not at all vapid like most young girls in the NY monied circles. And she’s got cameos on Gossip Girl.
I thought Patty Hearst was the name of the kidnapped lady not Lydia.
