the.LIFE Files was front and center for Nas’ performance at this years Rock The Bells concert @ Jones Beach in Long Island, NY.
Nas ran through his cataloge of hits including cuts from the new UNTITLED album before….
Bringing Jay-Z out to perform “Success” and “Black Republican” on stage together. It was a dope highlight to the show.
The Rock The Bells concert was a very nice concept with performances from some of our favorite rappers – Dead Prez, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Pharoah Monch, Method Man, Red Man, EPMD, Keith Murray and legendary hip-hop group Tribe Called Quest featuring Q-Tip.
We just think that Nas should have closed the show instead of Q-Tip, but all in all a very good hip-hop event.
***AS PROMISED…here is the audio of Jay-Z performing Success then Nas & Jay-Z performing Black Republican…no matter how many times they do this, it’s always crazy!!***

must’ve been a dope night…
Must be nice to be so humble to the guy that almost ended your career, fucked your baby mama, challenged you to a pay-per-view brawl in front millions. And left condoms on your baby seat. LOL
post the new lloyd banks tracks
Since when has it been A Tribe Called Quest “featuring Q-Tip”?? Ali, Jarobi, and Phife wasn’t there? A Tribe Called Quest is a classic Hip-Hop GROUP. This aint Diana Ross AND The Supremes.
