I don’t know either, those movies can be hit or miss like Step Brothers but I checked that out and liked it. I will have to get peer reviews first.

I saw it… It’s 6 out of 10… The only thing I don’t like is the black guy in it is nothing but a stereotype from start to finish… I don’t want to give too much away but i’m tired of the black guy being a moronic “hip hopper” with cash hoez and ass… I know that’s what we portray in real life but when you have a middle aged jewish man writing it into his scripts it’s terrible, I will say Roberto Downey is really good, and the skinny white guy is really funny, Jack Black has one good scene with the black guy when he;s tied to a tree! so maybe on second thought 7 out of 10, there are a lot of little laughs in it and some great big ones at the end… ohhh and TOM CRUISE is the MAN!!!! He killed it!!!
This movie was HILARIOUS!!! Start to finish. No joke. Well, many jokes.
Went with my girl last night and we both laughed non-stop. Funniest movie I’ve seen in a while, funnier than Pineapple Express.
Robert Downey Jr. stole the movie for me, some will think it was the Tom Cruise role, but ironically, Thunder just reminds you how good of an actor Downey was and still is and that he has incredible range. I think every character played their role perfectly, I don’t think it could have been done any better. We were laughing about the movie hours after we left the theater.
Over all I would give Tropic Thunder 9 out of 10. Also get there early, the very beginning is super funny and unexpected.
@^^HMDC, every character in the movie was a stereotypical character, that was one of the main parts of the movie.

the movie was awesome, the begining was awesome. the begining of the movie will surely take u by surprise. a little funnier than pineapple express but wayyyy better than step brothers
HILARIOUS Lifers go see this movie, you will laugh at the sillyness. Put all the politically correct bullsh!t to the side and just go enjoy yourself! I agree Robert Downey Jr. steals this movie. Cruise is funny too, but OSIRIS is hilarious. They all are funny. I laughed so much during this movie.
@Logan thanx for the review. Based on it I scooped up my buddy jetted to the 9pm show and we laffed our friggin butts off!! I laffed so hard I got a headache. I’d give the movie an 8 out of 10.
Tom Cruise, brilliant and Robert Downey Jr. goes without saying.
