Stefano Pilati the head designer of YSL recently spoke to the NYT about putting together this hot promotion for New York City Fashion Week where 5,000 magazines dedicated to the ENTIRE YSL collection were handed out in black YSL black tote bags last night (September 6th). The designer says this was a much cheaper option than buying 20 pages in a top magazine like Vogue….not to mention that because of the demand they say these bags will be available in stores very $oon.
Ladies BEWARE the $200 YSL bag is coming……..

Please note further evidence that the dollar is slipping. YSL passing out ads as opppsed to buying print space. AND advertising on subway platforms.
