He performed the hook more aggressively on the VMA’s. The hook on the recorded version sounds really weak and nonchalant. I liked the prior better.
I LOVE the fact that Kanye has the power to “change” the direction of his style. AND have poeple LOVE IT. Only he can do this. He did it with Graduation. And I have no doubt he will do it with his upcoming album. It’ll be on some leftfield stuff, (U2, Coldplay, “stadium music” stuff that the normal hip hop head prolly wont be feelin……………BUT the fact that Kanye is doing it…..gives it credibility.

That shit is kinda of boring. Throw a verse on it and we might have a some dope hip hop. It is to repetitive. And one part of it is kinda of hard to listen to vocally, but hey, whatever, I can get down. It is not the same ole bullshit! Which is good news. I just hope the other songs are better.

It’s okay, but this is going to cause to the dude to lose a lot of his fringe fans. The singing this didn’t work for Common, Q-Tip or even Andre 3000. Do you all notice how the brother has gone back to spitting rhymes. I wonder why? Kanye is feeling himself creatively. I applaud him expanding his music, but he is in this game to make a buck. This ain’t going to do it. I have supported dude from before the first album, but I don’t know if I wanna hear an entire album of this dude singing with auto-tune. I blame T-Pain and Andre 3000!!!
