Common is a beast! One of the very few rappers to actually strengthen his legacy and ascend artistically, beyond his third album. With the possible exception of “Electric Circus” this kid has yet to miss. All things considered (i.e., longevity, classic material, peer approval, cultural impact, substantive material, raw unadulterated lyricism), Common is Top 5 to ever do it. And, I challenge anyone to differ, based on this specific criteria.

I ABSOLUTELY love him!!!! His lyrical content, swag, style, everything! LoL. He’s a very well rounded artist…..AND FINE!!! L0L.

Oh AND he’s playing the Green Lantern movie The Justice League that comes out in 2009.

ok, definetly i feel all y’all. But com on, am I the only one who’s afraid common is loosing touch with real hiphop. I know he has to evolve, but from classics like i used to love her, to dancing in tight jeans with pharrell?? i donnu somethings up
