Yall people are NUTS! Who wears Tims in ’08??? Nike ACG boots have been shutting down Tims for almost 3 years. Tims USED to be the official boot but NOW it’s ACG’s HANDS DOWN. Tim”S are classic and all men need to have a fresh pair or 2 in the stash…but on a day to day basis, ACG’s has the streets. In EVERY BORO IN NYC you’ll find ACG’s. In the A, ACG’s. In DC, ACG’s. HipHop=the HOOD=ACG’s.

Man first of all the Nike Boots are a DC thing, and just like with soooo many styles, NYorkers swagger jacked us again and took it. We switched to the Nike Boots cause everyone was wearing tims…I know hip-hop is a culture BUT if you live in a SOUTHERN STATE or on THE WEST COAST and your city, town, or state rarely SEES SNOW!!!!! WHYA ARE YOU WEARING TIMS???? In DC thats all we wore boot wise Winter Summer and Fall, but then we got tired of looking like everyone else and started wearing the Nike Boots when they first came out….AND AS WE TRAVEL around the country as DC people do….ppl started checking our style and liking our boots…so now fast forward to this blog and comparison. (steps off my soap box)
I just had this convo wit my girl yesterday. I have been rocking Nike boots for like 5 or 6 years now, and I told her everybody in DC, Metro area has been rocking Nike boots for a minute, Im about to take it back to the Tims…I must admit the Tims are Classic!

But I’ve had ACG’s and that was like 6 years ago in NYC so I don’t lknow what DC is talking about. Anyway, ACG’s are more comfortable so I see why they’ve come into more competition. Tims be hard like bricks but that’s why you can use them to beat folks down! LOL If need be of course because I’m not promoting any violence. Also, you guys remember Mountain Gears? Those boots about 8 years ago were making noise because they looked comparable to tims and acg’s and were only about $50.
