so for him to be shot is senseless!!! OAKLAND gon burn some shyt down! i got friends in tha bay area! Tha police be wonderin why sometimes “we” be actin a fool!!!

Robert Tolan a 23-year-old man from Houston, TX was shot in his driveway last week unarmed while his parents watched because 3 officers accused he and his cousin of stealing the car they pulled up in. They shot Robert in the chest when the officer pushed his mother against the garage as she protested that they owned that car. The family’s attorneys are claiming racial profiling was a factor as the 3 officers were all white and the Tolans are the only black family on the block – where they’ve lived since ’94.

They werent even sorry, the gun went off, they didnt do anything, the cops looked at each other and kept carrying on, as if to say ‘OH WELL….. we not getting in trouble’ what needs to happen is they need to be charged as if they commited a crime when they do shit like this, they need to charged as anyone else would be. They should be trained that they should not use their gun unless their life is in danger. In this case, obviously it wasnt, the guy was handcuffed on the ground, laying on the ground. dude dont have an extra arm. Dude wasnt bitting, or kicking. He was laying on the ground. this shit pisses me off

I’m speechless!! As a black man I feel absolutely defenseless…so I can only imagine the pain, outrage, & other emotions that his family and friends are feeling. Shit like this is way too common of an occurrance. I don’t want to say what I think will eventually happen in this country if someone doesn’t start holding these cops accountable for their criminal acts of violence and stop these lawless animals. Its gonna get ugly, very ugly.
