I don’t know if Obama Time will ever come back in this post to read this, but I will tell you what “I” believe the purpose of the rear tongue is. It is to catch the back of your jeans so they don’t drag on the ground when one’s pants sag. Whether intentional or not. Back in the day (I can’t believe I said that, I’m getting old) a business partner and I were trying to patent something that would ease the ripped cuff on the jeans. We were not successful but kudos to Kanye if that was the intended purpose of this design.
