I’m so glad this happened right here in NYC to show how alive and kicking racism is. This didn’t happen in the south or midwest, but right here in Manhattan.
People of color can NOT get comfortable and sit on any laurels. Plenty of work to do. PLENTY OF WORK TO DO.

Our fight against racism must evolve! what are our options in situations like these? How productive can it be for us to always be on the look out for subtle racism? Will exposing it and bringing it to the light make it go away or will it just drive it further underground? What else can we do besides protesting and marching? I wish we would put just as much energy into educating, loving and establishing ourselves as we put into what others think of us. If we did, then we would be in a better position to really fight against racism and get better results.
The cookie wouldnt have been as bad if they took out the negro part…i mean it looks like a shit face which is what i call my drunk friends lol but no one actually looks like a pile of shit like how that cookie looks…thats just evil and he is trying really hard to hide his racism behind his subliminal messages thru the cookies. I cant remember the last black person i saw that had features of that sort…the cookie actually favors his sloppy face a little. im disappointed but not surprised.
