We don’t think Lil’ Kim liked the new Notorious film….she put this on her Facebook page:
I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portaying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t!
Another thing is, I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved, so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim story, THE REAL ME! Not some made up bullshit portrayed by a talentless has-been back up singer.
We give the movie a C+/B- but we thought Kim’s character was pretty entertaining.

Just saw the movie.. it sucked. Like it was a “nigga” movie. The story line was like any other “nigga’s” life. Poor, single mother, sold drugs, went to jail, had two baby mothers, dead beat dad, “nigga” gets shot. The end. The only difference in the BIGs life story is that he had successful 1 year rap career before he died. This movie just may boost young poor “niggas” unfortunate rap pipe dreams.
She is DELIRIOUS!!!!!! but the sad part is so many women actually think like her……. its tragic!!! other woman= jump off!!! like seriously, if it was all that he wouldve been with your ass. love conquers all, that includes divorces. so if he wanted her like that he wouldve left faith and been with her ass! JUMP OFFS PLEASE WAKE THE FUCK UP! SILLY BROADS!!!
Kim WAS a jump off, if she wasnt, BIG would have married her, and not some other woman. even when kim got pregnant, she said it in countless interviews, big said get an abortion, he aint want no family with this broad, this was a working relationship with perks (meaning — she was obedient…. so he could make her a rapper, make money off her and still fuck her and she take it) end of story. Kim is funny… her and naturi have the tasteless part in common (her words not mine)….i seen old videos of kim moving shit for Big and him callin her his hoe and having her be his flunky….I dont kno the inside of their relationship but i doubt he was gonna marry kim lol. i havent seen the movie yet so i dont know naturi’s skills but im sure it cant b that hard to portray a cum swallowing tacky hoe(kim back in the 90′s) just b/c kim tryna be “class” now (i dont even think thats the right word) i hope she didnt 4get where she came from/who she was

I dont think she was completely wrong about the way she was portrayed in the movie. Why was she the only one naked? why was Faith such an Angel? and where the fuck was Charlie Baltimore–bigs real grl friend ? I thought Naturi did a good job but may have got off on the wrong side of the industry by taking off her close.

NerdForLife: BIG only released one hit album when he was alive! How long was he promoting that album? A year? A year and a half? His beats were nice, his flow was sick.. but his lyrical content? Niggardom. He boosted Puffy, then Puffy boosted Mase.. then the Golden era of Hiphop was over. It all started with that last video he made of BIG and Puffy on that speed boat.
i saw the movie and i think home gurl did a good job. i dont believe kim would play herself good. It is what it is, i dont know why she mad. so what u was the side chick get over it.

And Kim had no right to attack Naturi about her acting skills…. Naturi did the best she could! But IMO, and I did see the movie, she wasn’t on point in portraying kim!

I could understand how Kim is upset that Naturi didn’t come to her for advice on playing Kim’s role but to attack her like that and say mean things is so juvenile. Are you serious Kim??? You let people get the best of you like that, to the point you’re looking crazy and bitter to the public eye! Let your lawyer handle this and get you’re $$$$. This is clearly something for you to just fade into the background because at the end of the day you weren’t BIG’s wife and it is what it is.
