A popular form of Jamaican dancing branded as “daggering” (lol) has been banned from the televison and airwaves in Jamaica. The dance simulates sexal positions through dancing and further more talk of murder, arson, rape, and gun violence has also been shut down.
So does this mean no more “Passa Passa?”

I’m so happy for this!! It’s so sad to see the amount of little kids imitating these moves on youtube!! Maybe now with less media highlighting it we won’t be seeing so much dutty wining!!
i like the daggering …but true it get out of hand .young kids copying it ..and the music just not the same anymore.

I am Jamaican and they do take the daggering way too far. Females should have some dyam decency and not let the man dem deal with them like a piece of meat. I am glad it is banned because the kids dont need to hear or see it. As for Passa Passa Life files, it is not banned for everyone and everything the ban is just for radio and TV. lol.
