Tomorrow night when he goes on our favorite choice for late night jokes, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Barack Obama will become the first sitting U.S. President to do this type of “risque television”. “The president sets the tone of the conversation in America. As much as President Obama would like to be a man of the people, a ‘regular guy,’ he’s not anymore. . . . Doing Jay Leno lessens the stature of the office,” says U.S. News & World Report columnist Mary Kate Cary.
Guess that means Sarah Palin will NEVER be President…she loves to be on the tube. We feel like people don’t love the nightly news anymore so Barack has to go where the crowd is awake….
