Rick Ross’ music is superior as of late. Both lyrically and overall production wise. I call it how I see it. Track record, credibility or appearance has no bearings on current music quality. You guys scare me by judging someone’s work based on how they look. I guess that makes B.I.G. wack, huh? 50 is cranking out the same old formula and it sucks in my opinion. “I Get Money” was his last certified banger, but 50′s album sucked. “I Get It In” and “Get Up” is basic at best, and we all know “Crack A Bottle” is really Em or Dre’s track — they just threw 50 a bone by allowing it to be on his album — even though 50 has the worst verse. I actually think the track would’ve been better with just Dre and Em like the reference track indicated. Ross on the other hand has dope tracks like “Magnificent” and “Mafia Music”. Damn, even “Cigar Music” is ill. Despite the redundant track names, the material is stellar. And I’m just being objective.
Right now…RAWSE! I agree that he lost his credibility, but he can really spit. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson III is bound to be on Dre & Eminem’s albums, so he’ll be all over radio & tv. It’s like WWF…
Oh, damn. Just heard a verse off Ross’ “Valley Of Death”. Like I said earlier, dude is in a good musical zone. I wish 50 would get back to making some quality music too. What shocks me is the fact that 50 announced that he is dropping two albums this year — AND HE DOESN’T HAVE ANY BUZZ FOR THE FIRST ONE YET.
