What a fucking asshole!! I’m glad the wife and aunt were paid him no mind and jetted into the hospital to see their loved one before she passed. But I’m mad as hell that this fucking piece of shit of a human, who would be nothing without his badge, actually went to those extremes to write a fucking traffic ticket. Good cops have been known to give police escorts clearing the traffic for families in situations like that one. I hope this waste of flesh looses his job.

I read about Mr. Moats saddening situation earlier today. I know that officers can use their discretion, however what about common sense? I mean if the story seems shaky, then escort the subject into the room and see for yourself. I’m sure nurses as well as a fellow officer will not vouch for anything that is untrue.
This is a clear case of an individual on a power trip. If I ran a red light and committed traffic violations…the last place I’d “run” to would be the hospital.
Well Mr. Moats you maintained your dignity, and just remember vengeance is the Lord’s. What an upstanding young man, I am not sure if I could have kept might composure quite as well as you did.

As a trainned officer of the law if you can exercise the basic human judgement and escort a traffic offender to see a dying relative and allow him the oppotunity to say his final good-bye to a dying relative, then why are u in a uniform, how take an oath to protect and SERVE? If this bigoted idiot looked past the skin color I’m sure he could have afforded him that. He should be stripped of his uniform immediately, and does not deserve to carry ANY gun if he is that coldhearted.
