Is This Burger King Whopper Ad Offensive?

This Whopper ad being run in Spain is being protested in Mexico by some who say the ad which features a very short Mexican wrestler being lifted up to get stuff off the shelves and clean windows by a much taller cowboy is offensive.  According to reports Mexico’s ambassador to Spain has written a letter to Burger King’s offices in that nation objecting to the ad and asking that it be removed especially because it also features a Mexican flag.

I take it Mexico has not looked at their Luchadores lately…They’re short Mexicans with masks…

I do find it offensive. If it was a tall-skinny African American, or a red-necked Caucasian , or even a yellow Asian for Mexican food you guys would see in another way. So I just say don’t do what u wouldn’t like done to u.

I think it is offensive too. The flag is what puts it over the edge for me. What’s up with BK these days? You see that other ad they are running for a kids meal, where the girls have boxes in their shorts and are rockin that thing?
