First, let me say I have been wearing the original MBT sandal since the shoes first hit the US at least 5 years ago. Had to replace once when I left them in a hotel while traveling-so I am a big fan of the benefits. Purchased the Pamela since I was looking for the same feel but with a slightly improved appearance. The shoe is much more attractive than the originals-however the forefoot rubbed my toes and caused blisters-but I have significant foot arthritis which probably explains that issue. I think for most people looking for a first purchase of MBT sandals, this would make a great 1st purchase.
