^^^I disagree with your subtle notion that in order to be considered beautiful you have to have more European features. Solange is a pretty young woman just the way she is.. big lips, strong nose and all. But I do agree that her talent is a bit questionable.

I think she’s pretty in that “interesting face” type of way.
Solange is cute at times, the thing is that her face only works according to certain looks. Her lips are not big and even if they were that would still be beautiful. Ur features should match ur facial structure !!! Full features are stunning if they a properly structured on the face. There are alotta people whose nose is to thin for there face or there lips may be to small. I also think that the close up of Solo doesnt help with this look, becuz she has a very very narrow face with all of this hair. One last thing Nik all features are beautiful its just that they have to be a proper fit !!!

@ J-UK, in that case I disagree with her too. I just think that a lot of beautiful blacks are considered to be ugly by other blacks because they don’t fit into the European standard of beauty. Sometimes we are more oppressive to our own than any other race currently is.
I think she looks pretty. Does anyone have a sibling that you are compared to everyday? She is not her big sis but she doe lool lke the woman who played on “All of Us and The Hugleys”, full lips and pretty eyes along with great cheek bones. I give her credit for being a single mom and not sitting under a rock.
i just can’t seem to call solange pretty because of her nasty, conceited for no reason attitude. Just because one person in a family is talented doestn’t mean everybody is. The bangs..well, what does it matter? She could be baled and still think she’s cute… so, its whatever.
