Glad to see an artist doing something different than all the clone artists out there following each other with auto-tune, tight jeans, big chains, flourescent shoes, etc…
Eminem is an artist that doesn’t follow trends or anyone else but himself. Gotta respect that.

The reason why no one is caring is because no one wants to hear/see this kill murder stab death overdose suicide music anymore. We’re in a time now where we need positive music or at least something that makes people wanna stand up and dance, not this anti-social stuff that he’s trying to put out. Also, as james ^ said, it IS so 1999-2001. The shock value for this type of music is long gone and the majority of people would just rather hear something that isn’t TOTALLY consumed by, basically, hate. From watching this trailer I’d say he should look into making horror movies, not horror music.

I agree with ReTHINK. I have never heard/seen anyone put it in words any better than that. If you listen to 3am and you imagine that it is from The Marshall Mathers LP, you wouldn’t really see much of a difference. People are just so clouded with rapper’s not using their actual voices(auto tune) or talking about how much money they have. This is Eminem, if you have listened to his shit before, why would this song surprise you? If he wouldn’t have taken a break after Encore like he did, no one would be saying shit either. Get off his jock and just let him do what he does best. At least he is staying true to himself and his fans. If he came out with some dumb rich rapper stuff talking about jewelry and cars and women, the same people would be saying “Oh Em sold out! He’s wack now! Eminem is a legend. He came out and flipped the game on its head in the 90′s. I expect no less from him now.
