Wow…this sounds interesting, but we think that’s about it…..Jamie Foxx has thrown his name in the hat for actors being considered to play the legendary Frank Sinatra in an upcoming movie along with George Clooney, Leonardo Di Caprio, Harry Connick Junior and Justin Timberlake who we actually think has a chance of snagging this gig. A “well placed source” told reporters at the Sundance Film Festival in Cannes:

“Cool is color-blind. Jamie would seem to be born to the role. Magnificent singing voice, totally convincing acting ability, like Frank himself, born the wrong side of the tracks, rags to riches, makes it big against the odds, has his brushes with authority. The guy’s a gift.”

Yeah, that would be interesting. I think the role should go to Harry Connick Jr.

I think you cannot be “color blind” when casting a biographical film. That would be like casting a white man as Sammy Davis Junior.
