Legendary film director Woody Allen wanted $10 million, but a judge awarded him half that amount in a New York Federal courthouse today in his suit against edgy clothing manufacturer American Apparel. The company illegally used Woody’s image dressed as a Hasidic Jew in an old movie on one of its billboards…and since then the ad and story have received more coverage than it would have EVER gotten so we’d say they got their money’s worth.

I can’t believe they actually did that in the first place and didn’t think there would be consequences.
