Em also has a go out and show and prove when know one else supports you, but Em also had help from Dr. Dre. We wouldnt know Em if it wasn’t for Dre.
Now both are great rappers and lyricsts…there are Em songs where Im like damn what did he say, and the same for Jay. This aint basketball or boxing where there is stats to see who is the best…like Jordan is the best bball player ever…and we have stats to show overall he is. You can’t do that in rap…but I feel like u get more bang for your buck with Jay. You get party songs, that chicks like and bang in the club, you get the straight up hustler/gangsta songs that dudes respect. You get the very lyrical songs, that lyricsts respect, and you get the concept/story telling songs. You don’t get all that with Em…You get lyrist, storytelling/concept, and thats it…you dont get party songs and songs for the ladies. All this to me makes a good rap artist, and I havent seen too many rappers past or present walk this balance like jigga and for this long.
