In case you haven’t been watching the news because the.LIFE Files feels so good…last Thursday a couple of people in South Carolina began to wonder where Republican Governor Mark Sanford was. They asked his office who first said they didn’t know but later said he was hiking on the Appalachian Trial…then they asked his wife who said she had no idea where he was and maybe he needed some time away from his two boys over the Father’s Day weekend….
Well, he came back this morning through Atlanta where no one would know about his arrival….except for the reporter that got tipped off and cornered him when he got off a plane from Argentina. He kept up his lie for about 5 more seconds before admitting to the world he was in Argentina for the past 7 days having an affair with a woman he’s known for eight years. Sanford has not said if he will step down.
We guess he thought South Carolina wouldn’t notice he was gone….
