I remember hearing Best I ever Had on the radio the first time, and was like damn whoever hes signed to is making the right moves. Then I read that he’s not even signed, then got confused. Like how did that happen, but anyways I think Drake is Dope. My Last.fm shows it too…

I agree with 50 somewhat about Drake getting all this radio play without a label…. This has never happened where an unsigned artist gets HEAVY ROTATION like he does. Somebody must be paying the radio stations for that to be played.. Which makes me think he will be signed to a major label. I’m a big fan of drake and I think he’s talented but its just crazy how his record gets the amount of spins it does.
Co-sign with 50. Drake is MAD overrated. I don’t see what all the fuss is about, he has a couple good tracks and that’s it. If he didn’t role with Wayne, no one would even acknowledge him half as much as h is right now.
Drake seems like a good person and he is, without a doubt, a multi-talented performer…He acts, sings and raps.

I agree 50 is not putting out good music and drake is decent, but I don’t know 1 artist, I dont CARE HOW HOT U ARE HAVE 2-3 songs on the radio in heavy rotation. The industry is real funny right now, and someone is gettin paid off these drake songs…there are alot of underground heat out there, that dont even see a regular radio spin, so I dont buy this whole…its just super hot, lets put it out there…if that was the case Corey Gunz would be all over the radio, cause he murdered wayne on a milli originally and then wayne took his verse off

50 is absolutely right. I have yet to see Drake actually do anything that warrants him having a record deal. The guy cannot even perform (unless you call TRYING to imitate Kanye West performing). I still haven’t even figured out if he’s a rapper or singer, because he just yells the words to Best I Ever Had into the mic regardless of what part of the song it’s on. Kinda sad and embarrassing.
The world hears a decent song and automatically thinks that means they are supposed to like the “artist” as well. Give the deal to someone who is actually good at what they do.
