Several news sources are reporting that his brothers are on the way to UCLA medical center and Mike’s father Joe Jackson says “he’s not doing well”. Michael suffered the cardiac arrest at his home in Holmby Hills and was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home around 12:21 PST today…he was then taken to the hospital after EMT performed CPR in the ambulance.

UPDATE - Reuters/The L.A Times/CBS News is saying that Michael Jackson has died today at the age of 50 on the verge of his comeback to the stage next year. Wow, the greatest entertainer of the past 100 years.

I agree that he has made some monumental contributions to music and dancing but at the end of the day, his contributions, no matter how large- pales in comparison to what he did to these innocent boys lives. They will spend the rest of their lives knowing that a man so celebrated in pop culture took something away from them that they can never get back.

I’m still numb and in disbelief that one of the greatest musicians of all times left us. A TRUE LEGEND he was! I cried so hard and I’m so devestated that he passed suddenly. I grew up listening to MJ and the Jackson 5 and I was always a huge fan of his. Losing him feels like losing a loved one. Over the past decade, he hasn’t had much peace (getting sued left and right, child molestation allegations, losing his neverland ranch, etc.) but now he’s in eternal peace. Michael, you will forever live in my heart, through the speakers of my boom box, the ear phones through my Ipod and tapes and dvd’s I have of your performances. I remember when I first heard “Dancing Machine” and drove my dad crazy and when he came off the #2 train with the 45 single in hands, I lost it. Michael was my first love. I grew up listening to Michael and his brothers. There will NEVER be another Michael Jackson. My heart is broken. I know we all have to go, but this here is so unexpected. Wasn’t ready for this one. He was a trendsetter and a legend. He will live on through his music forever. I’m glad that my kids were able to appreciate him. RIP Michael!!!! Love you always!!!!
