Cut It Out Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angles Times seems like they may be upset that gossip blog TMZ.com was the first to report Michael Jackson’s untimely passing – while both them and CNN were saying he was “in a coma” -  so yesterday they decided to ask their readers what if the site was wrong.  If you LIFERS were here that sad day you know we did follow TMZ’s lead when they confirmed Michael’s death but we cross referenced with other more reliable “news” sources who started to hear the same thing. CNN has a much bigger brand to worry about so unfortunately they have to drag their feet, like a guy who works out alot but can’t run because he’s short of breath….we knew they would be last to confirm.

Like it or not the way we get information is changing and just becuase Wolf Blitzer isn’t announcing it doesn’t mean it’s not true….

Just because TMZ was the first to report it, I honestly didn’t believe it and kind of brushed it off until the major news channels started reporting it as factual.

But other media outlets should be scared, because if TMZ actually proves themselves to be a credible news source then they can become a force to be reckoned with…and offer major news stations some serious competition esepicially among the younger demographic.
