With everyone else releasing a statement about Michael Jackson’s death last week we missed Paul McCartney’s. If you didn’t know Paul and Michael were close friends until he was outbid by him in 1985 for about 200 Beatles songs. Michael paid $47 million for the collection which some say may be worth as much as $1 billion dollars now….and there’s rumors circling about whether Michael planned to give some of it back to Paul. Anyhow, here’s his statement:
“It’s so sad and shocking. I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy man with a gentle soul. His music will be remembered forever and my memories of our time together will be happy ones. I send my deepest sympathy to his mother and the whole family and to his countless fans all around the world.”

Thanks 4 postin’ this. I was interested 2 hear/read whut Paul had 2 say. Any word from Eddie Murphy? Chris Tucker? I’d like 2 see you guys post the vid 4 the song Michael and Eddie did back in the ’80s.
I brushed up on my knowledge and the song is called “whatzupwitu”. It’s off of Eddie Murphy’s 1992 album “Love’s Alright”.
Mike you are the best!!!!!
Mike you are the best…..
the best child molester that is…
^^why you have to be so ignorant, show some respect!
Rest peacefully Mike….
@Mojave
even though the net has been ablaze with how that the whole case was false, although no new agency picked it up, it was pretty clear that the whole thing was a shakedown but the boy (now a man) involved said nothing about it being false
anyway, I think we should respect Mike and leave him alone for once. We all know his background and why he was a little off. He may had had allot of money, but he was a very hurt person, and believe me that is a prison all it own.
Well said BGAS…R.I.P. Michael..We’ll always love and miss you.
