50 Cent’s “Ok You’re Right” is also making some huge waves right now. We initially didn’t like this song, but it grew on us.

Jay Z will forever be the MAN!!!! but right now i gotta give it to 50 with this latest video, he has the bigger hit.
neither cuz only people from up north is buzzing about it i like jayz music but its not like when he came out with the other blueprints i mean everybody has jumped on the whole death to autotune wagon cuz people has way too much overused that shit but both these songs are boring to me

Both of these artists have seen better days…musically and creatively..
50 Cent is struggling the most to come back into relevancy, as his past few albums, singles, mixtapes, etc..have been bombed by the critics and have seen less-than-stellar sales at the end of the day. His salty mouth has only made matters worse by alienating his one-time fans by disrespecting other artists in the game that they may be fans of as well. For example, if I am a fan of both Kanye and 50 Cent but I hear 50 Cent talking really disrespectful about Kanye, then 50 just lost me as a fan. It’s almost as if he was disrespecting me since consumers of music become fans based on how well they can identify with an artist..
50 Lost a lot of fans whenever he went at Kanye and got showed out in album sales. He should have never opened his mouth. That was his downfall.
I think 50’s one-time fanbase has found other artists that are more worthy of their money and I can’t blame them.
As for Jay-Z…he is respected in the game and much more humble overall. He seems more grown and on-top of shit than 50 Cent, however his old age may be what holds him back from gaining the mass appeal that he once had. Most of his core fans are much older and simply aren’t into music as much as they were when he was on top.
The new kats on the scene are the ones that will run with it and be the most successful these days….Wayne, Drake, Kudi, Soulja Boy, etc…
The only exception is Eminem…but he’s in a class of his own and always has been. He’ll continue to sell records.

Jay. Rick Ross put 50 in “space” (50’s word of the decade) where he was exposed musically. That punctuated 50’s already redundant and declining music quality.
50’s single grew on me, but a hot song doesn’t grow on you. It’s just hot. Jay’s DOA was straight out the oven from the get. But I do prop 50 for channeling his old self. I’m hearing a few signs on ‘Forever King’ that look promising.
But 50 needs to learn from Ross. Ross’ music speaks for itself, and he’s been in a zone since Mafia Music.
They both are better than any Lil’ Wayne or Drake…but I’d have to say Jay is still hotter right now, even though I think 50 can still take his spot with another hot track. Jay’s “D.O.A.” is a straight classic, while 50’s “OK, you’re right,” is a great song, but won’t go down as classic material. 50 has it in him though…fuck the haters.

definitely Jay-Z. all of 50’s new songs were supposed to be on 50’s new album but the label said no so they pushed his album waay back and now doing these songs as a mix-tape. poor 50.
