Brandy has been dropped for her label Epic Records after the lackluster sales of her latest CD Human. She shouldn’t have a problem finding a new label home… but we’re hearing that she fired her management too.

Isnt her mom her manager? How she drop her mom? I am confused. But its like all the greats are. But we give Soulja Boy and Ciara, who can’t sing, record deals. I think I heard Monica got one more bad album and then she is next. Thats what is taking her so long. Its sad. But they was saying the same thing about Patti and Gerald a few years back.

Brandy’s last album was said to be good/decent !! The problem is that her label did’nt really push this album. After 1 or 2 videos and songs that was it. So many people did’nt even know she had an album out !! The promo was awful !! She needs a smash hit with a huge market blitz to put her back on the scene !! I think that Monica is doin right, shes taking her time figuring it all out !! The thing with Monica is that she has to work with new producers. She needs fresh music. People want it. The girl is mad talented and so is Brandy !! But they need a smash hit the both of them. Thats all they need !! Epic was to blame for this 1. I only saw Brandy perform on B.E.T 106 and that was it. No late night, or early shows, awards shows or anything !!

Brandy released 2 offical singles. Right Here(Departed) and Long Distance. Both good songs but Long Distance should’ve been shifted to the AC radio to get those older white folks.
Word has it that she is with Roc Nation Mgmt.

I don’t know what many artists are going to do quite frankly… no one is making sales like they used to. Straight A-Listers and still nothing past Gold (at least not within a 2 month period)
Firing here team deosn’t mean much other than her wanting a change for her next move. The real question is if her next move will be the same as the last one even with new people.
Monica is getting a try again alot but she also understands that this album has to be a success so she is trying to figure it all out !! Her route would be something like a Keyshia Cole !! She needs to look at her blue print, and throw in a couple of pop hits !! There are plenty of artist that are and go past gold also !!
Brandy’s music isnt being marketed properly !! To me her album was rushed and thrown out !!
