Sheesh! First we didn’t like Maino’s rap style, then after his catch diddly “Hi Hater” we gave him a chance and actually enjoyed his next two singles “All Of The Above” and “A Million Bucks”, but it seems we were alone, well almost. Not sure what happened here but he seemed to have SOME buzz…here’s what he had to say on Twitter:

? were is the Pub for Maino? The Boy Jeremih is over everything and Def Jam is fully behind him. Seems as to me another case of the Label not knowing what the fuck they doing. The industry needs a complete crash and then bring it back like it was in the 80’s and 90’s. Maino is just another victim.

Maino just doesn’t have that special something that sells records. I’d say it’s a wrap. He’ll probably go on to do several mixtapes but that is probably about it.
The industry is finished and it died with MJ. Selling records is next to impossible these days.
