Maxwell’s new album BLACKsummers’night which recieved only average promotion in our opinion moved an inredible 316,000 copies this week helping Maxwell score another number one debut – his last was Now Back in 2001.
If Chris Brown or R. Kelly can’t do that….he’s the king right???

Maxwell is good ….I really don’t get into this King of RnB thing…if it sounds good and the singer is saying something ….I’m good …..that Pretty Wings songs is a good example….
I think it’s that he has a sound that everyone can appreciate, whereas Chris Brown appeals more to high school chicks, and R. Kelly’s more thug R&B. There’s no king of R&B. It’s too diverse to pinpoint.

See people when u make quality music ur material sells. Maxwell has been out of the public eye for a good while. He cameback with a bang, did’nt need any hype, or nothing to comeback and achieve this feet. The sad thing is u have artist that rulw the hot100 charts with smash singles but can’t come nowhere near close to Maxwell’s sales. That is huge for him. Congrats and a big ups for real music !!!
