Man Im fuming right now, I thought this was a Jay-z single?? Why the hell is Rihanna and Kanye on it more than him?? And Kanye ripped him too?? At least Timbo knew to play the background. I like Kanye but if he is on even 40 % of this album I aint buying.

Not feeling Rhianna on this track. They should remix it and take her out. The chorus is extremely monotonous and boring… Hov & Kanye kill it though over a nice Timbo beat.

THIS COLLABO IS HARD! YEEZY DEF. KILLED IT! THOUGH I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE RIHANNA’S SWAG ON THIS TRACK I AGREE THAT IS WAS A BIT TOO MUCH FOR THIS PARTICULAR TRACK! OTHER THAN THAT “THUMBS UP”. I HAVE TO SAY I’M LOVING THIS ROCK EDGE DIRECTION HOV’S BEEN MOVING IN LATELY!

It has officially happened Kanye West has eclipsed Jay-z lyrically. i haven’t been able to get behind a jay-z song in a while and this is not helping me. Hov can rap but I’ll be damned if his music isn’t getting more and more BORING! I’m sick of hov songs having to grow on me and then I hav to like it cause it’s hov. Rihanna is lightweight weak as well. Kanye west saved the song.

Im a Jay-Z fan, but the song is just o.k. at best. The verses are mediocre, the hook is mediocre except for the “hey part at the end” and Ye does cool but he has all the elements at his fingertips but doesnt deliver anything great. T.I.’s Rihanna joint had waaay more passion. No ID killed the beat though. Cant wait to hear the shit he gives Mikkey. Mikkey has the passion and hunger in his voice. Jay should sign him.

I am a Jay-z fan and his flow on this song is as great as ususal. But it is very difficult to enjoy the song as a whole with wack ass Rihanna whining all over it.

When a Rihanna song comes on I can choose not to listen. But when she’s on the first single of my favorite rapper? Depressing…

why is everyone making this a competition?! they on the same team for christ sake! The song itself is pretty dope, can we all agree on that instead of comparing these two. Jay’s flow is crazy as usual, Ye is def spittin, and Rihanna fits really good between these two heavy weights. Some of yall got hate in ur blood…yall need to get check out.

thats a good point, like why is it oooh ye killed hov, like how many kanye songs has hov been on where kanye wasnt in the same class, Im glad kanye is stepping up lyrically, but sheesh, we can’t even enjoy music anymore with out someone making it a competition and then we wonder why american artists sell more overseas, they just enjoy the music instead of taking sides.

For those that are “bothered” by the the comparison/competition comments, PLEASE understand hip-hop and the fact that when you’re at the forefront of your craft, everyone wants to take that spot. The history of hip-hop has shown (written and video interviews) that rappers, not only on the same label, but that are the best of friends try to one-up each other. PLEASE listen to Ye’s “Big Brother.” He even mention at how he thought he got Jay Z on the “Diamonds” remix, but still loss.

Competition isn’t always meant to destroy the loser. When on the same team, it’s meant to make everyone BETTER. Competition to beat one another has driven Kanye to be the artist that he is, and keeps Jay-Z on his toes to keep his spot. Though I know Jay-Z claims the war, Kanye just won his first battle!

SMH @ anyone that calls someone a hater for recognizing the varying degrees of quality in verses. They didn’t say Jay was whack. Good, better, best…

Kanye definitely out-rhymed Jay. Jay’s first verse was better than the second, but neither one brought anything to the overall track. This would’ve been better if it was a ‘Ye track. His delivery has a synergy with the instrumental. Jay does not.

Them damn, “What up?!” shouts by Jay are overdone over. The answer to that question is that ‘Ye has joined Nas and Eminem on the list of emcees to outshine Jay on his own shit.

@realtalk

your comment shows how stupid you are.
Gay Fish is just ok… He brought nothing to the track! He is just there to represent the gay community on this song.
And you have to asdmit that this is not a gay fish song but a hova song Jay Z is On Top

And you’re so disrespectful to Nas & Em:Comparing them to that Gay Fish who cant rap, his major lyrics are so weak.
I just give you some exemple:
“-wanna see whats under there there now put it in the air
Yeah load it on my macbook air
Its a new form of macking don’t be old fashioned update your passion”
-”Your girlfriend she wants too, beautiful, just flew F from Paris, voulez-vous”
-”Give me room now, I’m like a vampire on a full moon now”==>Vampire have nothing to do with full moon…it only concerns werewolves
-Now everybody clappin, they bravoed it up
All just because its more than a buzz
More than a drink, but I took a few sips
And let it do what it does, now drunk textin
Like its all about you, like I cant spend
Another minute without you
You know the drinks let you say things

WHICH SERIOUS RAPPER WILL CONSIDER THIS THANG AS A RAPPER!

now some eminem’s lyrics:

“‘m not Mr. N’Sync, I’m not what your friends think
I’m not Mr. Friendly, I can be a prick
If you tempt me my tank is on empty (is on empty)..
No patience is in me and if you offend me
I’m liftin you 10 feet (liftin you 10 feet).. in the air
I don’t care who is there and who saw me destroy you
Go call you a lawyer, file you a lawsuit
I’ll smile in the courtroom and buy you a wardrobe
I’m tired of arguin’ (of arguin’)..
I don’t mean to be mean but that’s all I can be is just me”

“These ideas are nightmares to white parents
Whose worst fear is a child with dyed hair and who likes earrings
Like whatever they say has no bearing, it’s so scary in a house that allows
no swearing
To see him walking around with his headphones blaring
Alone in his own zone, cold and he don’t care
He’s a problem child
And what bothers him all comes out, when he talks about
His fuckin’ dad walkin’ out”

ps:Gay fish is about to make his coming out ‘no homo”

I think that gay fish’s Stans are stupid as their Idol
U should really use your brain before speaking
