when it comes to talent and career potential it used to be kelis. but now the only talent she has is takin nas’ money.
Kelis. I think she does it better BUT Solange, to me, has more career potential ONLY because she is Beyonce’s sister.

Kelis was the “different one” when she first came out but her only problem is she can’t sing live. She is prettier then Solange but like her big sis B, she can sing and give a good show. Kelis is still my girl cuz her 1st cd was the shit and I still rock it today.

@teena She’s in Loreal commercials, the Japanese hand bag commercials also featuring her son, etc. She will always have more exposure giving her more changes for stardom than Kelis. No matter who’s shadow she’s in right now she has one of the best co-signers in the game right now.

Kelis easily. Life this isn’t even fair. Kelis has international hits and has had 9 top 10 songs on International charts. The girl had Vogue UK salute her. Muse to Matthew Williamson and Jereny Scott. Solange does her thing but this comparison isn’t really fair. Kelis hasn’t released anything at all in over 3 years. Solange just had an album out that while great produced no hits. Any ads she gets is b/c of her sister. Yeah, not a good comparison at all. Don’t be mad at Kelis for the situation with Nas lol. Be mad at the Judge and Nas’ lawyer.

Ok people – Kelis takin’ Nas’ money? I don’t think so. He is the baby’s father and the child has every right to live the lifestyle of it’s parents. Obviously, 55k a month is nothing for Nas if the judge so easily granted that amount. Kill the noise, the woman was married to the man years before having the baby and he CHEATED. Wake up. If you were in the same situation as Kelis, what would you do? “Don’t worry Nas, $250 a month will do fine for me and your child. You go on and spend money on women, jewelry, booze and your other kid to a woman whom you weren’t married to” Get real folks.
