^^It’s not her fault… blame Ryan Tedder and her record company.

I called Ryan and said, ‘I don’t understand. Why would you do that?’. “In the end, they’re releasing it without my consent,” she sighs. “It sucks, but it’s one of those things I have no control over. I already made my album. At this point, the record company can do whatever they want with it. It’s kind of a shitty situation, but.… You know, you learn.”

Halo is an old song. THis was shedulded to be in Leona Lewis’s Spirit (2007).

Both songs were written by… Ryan Tedder so I don’t know why do you blame Kelly…?? She was working with him for some time and Beyonce was given a song.
“Tedder had used a very similar musical track for Clarkson’s song “Already Gone” months before working with Knowles.”
Halo was written for Leona’s next album, but Leona didn’t have time to record it so Ryan gave it to Beyonce.

Where is it a big hit? In the USA? Maybe. Without promotion? Where do you live? In a cave? Beyonce is the most OVER promoted singers I know.
Halo has Leona’s style written all over it. I am not saying that she should sing it and now I’m hating on Beyonce. Kelly seeking attention? I don’t think so… the song sounds the same so it’s her right to give her side of this story. I’m not even her fan.
Ryan Tedder is the one to be blamed… he’s recycling these songs.
Beyonce is no queen in my world. I know better singers than her.
