Yesterday in Rome swimmer Michael Phelps lost his first indivuidual race in four years, which kind of sucks except when you consider the German swimmer who beat him basically admitted it was beause of his high tech full body polyurethane suit which will be banned by the sport starting in 2010.
“The suits make a difference. I hope there will be a time when I can beat Michael Phelps without these suits. I hope next year. I hope it’s really soon,” said gold medal winner Paul Biedermann.
“It’s going to be fun next year when swimming is back to swimming,”said Phelps who has also been criticized in the past for his high tech Speedo suits.
Just make them swim naked….swimming would be the new baseball…
