Chris Brown’s sentencing for his assault case against the girl the gossips say he’s STILL dating Rihanna has been moved to today at his lawyer’s request. This singer is expected to be sentenced to 5 years probation and 180 days of community labor which he will serve in Virginia.
Remember when Naomi Campbell made a well dressed spectacle of her community service in New York City??? Well, you know who to send those shots of Chris Brown decked out in Gucci listening to his iPod and dancing while sweeping the highway to Virginia….

The judge placed Brown on felony probation for 60 months — 5 years. He must obey all laws. He must report to probation within 72 hours. Brown can perform community labor in Virginia. She wants reports from the domestic violence program in Richmond, VA. Brown must keep in touch with the Probation Department. He is subject to search and seizure 24/7 for the next 5 years. He can’t own any dangerous weapon, including guns or knives. He must complete a 52 week domestic violence program sponsored by the Commonwealth Catholic Charities. Brown must personally come to court every 3 months during his probation. He can’t have any contact with Rihanna, even on the phone or through a 3rd person. He must stay 100 yards away from her, unless there’s an entertainment-related event, in which he must stay 10 yards away.
The saga finally ends today. Kinda.

Yo, this is kinda harsh for a 1st offense……1 or 2years intense probation yes….but 5yrs…..damn…..and he can’t have contact with Rihanna……Not going to happen….I feel a probation violation is coming …..Good Luck Chris !
I dont think its harsh at all, he deserves some jail time. He got off easy.
Well its a bad thing and a good thing he will learn his lesson and never do it again and he will never think or have the thought to hit a women.
First of all if they truly love each other, I mean really love each no matter what they’ll come back to each other, but it can only be done through communication. Since he is told to stop all communication to Rihanna in anyway possible, I don’t see that happening. 5 years of probation is extreme if some of you can take your emotions out of this and think about the stiuation clearly, then you’ll see it is extreme. For a first offense on a domestic violence case probation is mandatory to 1 or 2 years with community service, and counseling with the accused and family. Some of you wouldn’t know that because some of you seem to forget that celeb’s are human all so. You shouldn’t hold them to a higher standard then the average person working a regular nine to five job just because their in the spotlight. We all make mistakes, but the key is to learn from those mistakes and ask for forgiveness from the victim and yourself. Remember that Chris Brown is still young and still have room to grow as a man, and as a person. Before you judge remember that you can’t judge anyone without first judging yourself.
