We were hoping that this wasn’t true… but DJ AM (age 36) who survived a horrible plane crash last year was found dead in his NYC apartment this afternoon. The cause of death hasn’t been released, but TMZ.com is reporting that drug use, and depression over a recent break up with his girlfriend Hayley Wood might have contributed.
The last time we saw DJ AM, he was deejaying for Jay-Z @ Madison Square Garden. Check out some of the footage HERE. R.I.P. DJ AM!

Whatever happened to smoking a joint and having a drink, damn. This is some freaky Final Desitnation shit. I have a hard time feeling sorry for people that die from OD’g on drugs. You knew the consequences. It’s a shame.
