Remember Adult Pacifiers????

Yes, we’re not kidding depending on where you lived this was a big fad.  In the early 90′s designer pacifiers that included every style from gold plated to hanging from a necklace started popping up in the urban neighborhoods and quickly made their way into the suburbs before everybody realized that the style sucked.

Who was guilty of taking part in this fad????

Don’t worry of the statute of limitations has passed.  Confess, you’re safe.

For me, the pacifier necklace fad was because of Maggie Simpson. Isn’t it coincidental that this fad appeared just about the same time as the Simpsons? I took part in this fad imagining that the pacifier necklace was something that Maggie would wear and several years later, the show’s first flash forward episode aired (which takes place in this fine year 2010!) a teenage Maggie was shown wearing a pacifier necklace. I, for one, REALLY want to see that fad back just for that reason. I’m a diehard Maggie Simpson fan!! Who agrees with me??
