The fact is, she was famous for her beautiful voice and she destroyed it. Regardless of what anyone says, it’s gone – she will never ever ever sound anything like what she did. What a shame – she threw it all away – turning to god is not going to make her healthy again and she will still have emphysema

Whitney, I am thankful to God that you were able to pull through and continue to become the child of God that He would have you to be. God was not going to lose you to satan. Looking back on everything, I’m sure you realized that it was God who kept you. Please continue to pray for your husband Bobby and that he is able to come to know God as well. Your story has proven to us that if you train up a child in the way that he should go that when he strays we will not stray far. Sweeeeearing I just figured it out Whitney went to rehab with Bobbi Christina after that photo/video came out on the web with her daughter smoking SOMETHING !!! cause that shit was not coo and that had to be a COLD ass REALITY afterall what could she or Bobby REALLY SAY , stop ?? im glad that god brought u through this b-c you couldnt do it by yoourself b-c me and my mom watched waiting to exhale she said you was on drugs now i was devasted when she told me i was shocked but u looked so happy when you was singing you looked so happy but deep down inside you was hurting even when you was not with him you was unhappy but it had to take time to cum through i dont want to judge b-c only god can judge we all make mistake and we all just have to take one day at time its a struggle pulling through this u can make it b-c u can do all things through jesus christ
I went to an Internet cafe thats quite a distance from my home in Rural parts of Africa. In my Inbox was an email sent to me by a former classmate in the 80s saying “Pray for Whitney Houston” There and then I closed my eyes but I cant remember what I said because there were other people in the cafe were staring at me. I closed my eyes anyway. We grew up singing her songs while perched on top of trees. The songs were always played in Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation Radio under the Programme ‘Sundowner” Oh mum always snatched the Philips Radio away, and Dad could switch channels to listen to news while we wanted to listen to Whitney. I wish Dad knew how we loved this girl. What doesnt kill you makes you a better person. We Love you girl, go go go. God answers Prayers. Love you Whitney.

I have been in a similar situation so I kow some of what you feel and I think you are very brave to tell the truth even though it’s a private manner and unfortunately you’ve been in he public eye for a very long time. Everyone who is messing with drugs never admits it while they are doing it so don’t ever feel bad about lying about it years ago what matters is that you got through it and you can stay sober and still be happy. It’s not an easy thing to get over and i think it shouldn’t be so you’ll never forget what you put everyone through including yourseld.
Way to go and keep doing the positive things in your life that make you and your daughter happy and it doesn’t mean a man has to be the one to do that for you.

It has been much too long for this comeback.Nobody can ever understand the real situation in Bobby’s & Whitney’s marriage. We have to carry on with our lives if a relationship doesn’t work.There are many things more in life……….career,love,children,family etc. In her case,its her VOICE! No living person currently has that kind of voice.
Whitney, forget about the painful past, do what you are best in now! Take care of your daughter and keep on singing as long as there are people still willing to listen to The Voice!

I can relate to everything u went thru except having alot of money… lol God saved me from the drug and continuing to kill myself and I also had kids and they were so understanding not only now but during my addiction. Today I’m 10 yrs. clean of an 11 yr. addiction. I was also in a abusive relationship with someone who was addicted and I as well was addicted to him as well. Thank God we made it out Whitney! To God be the glory.
