And that’s why he’s President now……the master of diplomacy.

“I actually think that what’s happened is that whenever the President tries to bring about significant changes paritically during times of economic unease there’s a certain segment of the population that gets very riled up….this is not atypical, one of the things you sign up for in politics, folks yell at you.”

bush wasnt ruffling anyone feathers until the end. when bush first started with the war with afghanistan campaign we all fell in line, when he stared with iraq as a nation we may have questioned but we fell in line. ppl booed bush, when someone threw a shoe at him we praised the fool. idk if its true that bush got better treatment than barack.
plus Barack announced from the beginning that he was going to make a lot of changes, those changes cost a lot of money that we dont have. if you dont agree with his spending plans, his healthcare plans… that makes you racist? i agree with barack some may be racist but everyone isn’t.

i’m just glad hes strong enough to deal with ppl yelling crazy things at him…

I agree with Barack Hussein Obama. Black people always think white people are racist… like white just sitting around cracking slave jokes. Un-true. White people tend to be more patriotic and supportive, and PROUD of their country; the LAND OF THE FREE. Therefore, when anything comes up with “change”, patriotic people DO get “up in arms”, because it’s something new. Whether you like the US or not, it is a free country. Go to some other country and try some of that hood nonsense that happens here and watch how quick they decapitate and torcher that ass. TRUE STATEMENT. Or have you 10 year old daughter raped and forced into marriage to a 40 year old. People need to be proud and supportive and “UP IN ARMS” when CHANGE arrises. (And I am not saying that Obama’s changes are bad – just that concern should always be present.)

White people are more supportive of this country because it has always been good to them & them only. People of color have not been as fortunate-so it would be asking just a tad bit too much for me to support someone/thing that has contunued to kick me in my ass. Just something to think about regarding being proud of a country that continues to kick you to the curb.

America doesn’t kick anyone is the butt. you can def work hard, go to school and make it some place. don’t use what happened years ago and a crutch to explain why you havent made it to the top. there are never small jobs, just small minded people. even if you sweep the streets in america you still have the opportunity through school to make it further than that. it’s not a racist thing. there are no jim crow laws any more.

i think what barack is saying is people voted him into office. they saw past his color and saw the possibility of his dreams for the future of this country. just because they are protesting now doesnt mean they just got the memo that he was black. just means they are practicing their rights to protest what they dont agree with.

Ummm…whatever. Im sorry but how do you know what I do to insinuate that i have not “made it to the top”-whatever that means in your world. I dont use anything or anyone as a crutch! If i want something-i go get it-Simple as that! Im happy that you got off your soap box now if you could just come out of that bubble or gated community that you live in to know that America kicks everyones ass-White, black, blue or purple. However in a lot of situations it does not matter how much schooling or otherwise b/c u will not be looked at the same. Just in case u havent noticed in your world-but in the world or country that we all live in together present day, still is very racist.

i like that you said it kicks everyones ass, every color. it may be racist, it may be hard but no matter what there is always a way to succeed, black, white, yellow or blue. made it to the top just means successful… in your own eyes. if you wanted t be a truck driver and you are that could be your success. i just don’t like hearing oh i wanted to be this (whatever it is) and bc of x, y or z i never got there. try your hardest and see what happens. we drive our own destiny. the color line no longer exist. education literally is the key to our dreams. not a soap box speech, just how i feel.
