We didn’t say he was the king of rap…you guys (or your friend next to you) keep doing it at the registers!  The rap mogul is estimated to sell another 301,000 CD’s of his Blueprint 3 when the official numbers come in tomorrow bringing his total sales to over 750,000. Meanwhile Whitney Houston experienced an Oprah Effect when sales of her comeback CD sold another 166,000 copies a 99% increase from the week before she went on Oprah.

In rising stars news…Kid CuDi’s Man on the Moon: The End of Day moved a decent 104,000 copies landing him at number 4 on the charts while Drake’s EP So Far Gone is expected to sell about 50,000 copies putting him at number 6.  Is that a good start for the new guys???

This should come as no surprise. The BP3, as a complete body of work is a classic. You can listen to it without skipping any tracks. Furthermore, right now he has 2-3 more potential singles in Already Home, Empire State of Mind, and On to the Next One! Fucking Awesome!

I don’t know about buying 3 CD’s but the album is a classic. Let me say it again: Its actually a classic. For those who think he aint saying anything… read the lyrics. Especially Real as it Gets, Thank You, A Star is Born, Already Home and don’t forget Young Forever, Hate and What We Talkin About…. in fact for all those who ACTUALLY WANT TO MAKE IT should pay attention to the first and last song.

at a snails pace I won this race that yall trail… this is big boy music, it should make you want to grow up. Seriously, its really for those who want more for themselves.. I hope more people get what he is REALLY trying to say… on to the next one… we off that.

GET EM JAY!

Y are people still talking about Eminem? Yeah he sold 700K in his first week, but his singles sucked and that CD sucked. Like what hot songs of his do you hear on the radio? NONE! I’m not taking nothing from him, he is good on the mic. But lets be serious, that CD wasn’t hittin on nothing.

And I also predict that after he appears on Oprah, he too will get to experience the “Oprah Effect”. Not that he really needs it or anything.
