Plaxico Burress’ mugshot was released today, showing the NFL players signature goatee shaved and wearing a dark green prison uniform. Burress will serve 2 years in jail for shooting himself in the leg while partying at a NYC night club earlier this year.

talk about shooting yourself in the foot… or the leg I guess. I really think the Giants lost because he wasn’t there to play that season but obviously the biggest loser in all of this is him. Spending 2 years in jail for something like this is just crazy.
I am just glad no one was hurt (including him) and people didn’t panic and trample over each other when they heard the gunshot.
Its crazy that we get punished so hard for something that might have happened instead of something that did 2 years for a gun that didn’t harm nobody but himself that right there is punishment enough to know that you just shot yourself. This will not stop nobody from carrying guns so i don’t think the time fits the crime at all but as all people locked up for obscene amounts of time keep ya head up
